Basketball Recap: Greenforest Comes Up Short

After flying high against JAG last Saturday, Greenforest came back down to earth. The Greenforest Eagles took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thornton Fractional North Meteors on Saturday.

Greenforest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Thornton Fractional North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Greenforest and Murray County will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Murray County will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Greenforest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thornton Fractional North, they will head out on the road to face off against Providence Catholic at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
