Football Recap: Santa Barbara Takes a Loss

Santa Barbara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pacifica Tritons. The Dons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tritons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Santa Barbara's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pacifica, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Santa Barbara will face off against rival Dos Pueblos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pacifica is set to square off against their familiar foe San Marcos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
