Baseball Recap: White Plains Comes Up Short

White Plains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cleburne County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 last Tuesday.

White Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Cleburne County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Looking ahead, White Plains will take on Westbrook Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Cleburne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
