Peachtree Ridge won the last time they faced Discovery and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions won by a set and slipped past the Titans 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since August 28th.

Peachtree Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Aida Edwards paced Peachtree Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. Edwards got some help from Kya Morris and her ten assists. Morris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Peachtree Ridge moved to 7-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Discovery, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Peachtree Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Dacula on the 20th. As for Discovery, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Buford on the 23rd.
