Basketball Game Preview: Pinecrest Prep Crocs' vs. International Studies

The Pinecrest Prep Crocs will face off against International Studies at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pinecrest Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.

Pinecrest Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 54-43 win over Pinecrest Glades Academy.

Pinecrest Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexander Buduen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Buduen a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Rivero, who posted 20 points.

Meanwhile, International Studies scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against iMater Charter, falling 70-46. International Studies has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pinecrest Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for International Studies, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
