Football Game Preview: Fort LeBoeuf Bison vs. Fairview Tigers

The Fort LeBoeuf Bison will head out to face off against the Fairview Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort LeBoeuf has given up an average of 25.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fort LeBoeuf is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against General McLane on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bison lost 42-20 to the Lancers. The Bison were down 35-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite their loss, Fort LeBoeuf saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Skyler Sadowski, who rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. The Bison are 2-1 when Sadowski posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Dominic Walters was another key player, rushing for 82 yards.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Fairview duked it out with Seneca on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 19-7. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won five in a row.

Fort LeBoeuf better keep an eye on Caden Oldach. He was instrumental in Fairview's win, rushing for 206 yards and one TD while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Those 206 rushing yards gave Oldach a new career-high.

Fairview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Fairview's record is now 2-4. As for Fort LeBoeuf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Fort LeBoeuf couldn't quite get it done against Fairview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 10-0. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
