Basketball Game Preview: River Road Wildcats vs. Canadian Wildcats

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. River Road is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, River Road came up short against Dalhart and fell 58-50. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 799th, while the Wolves are ranked 386th).

Meanwhile, Canadian lost to Childress at home by a 36-18 margin on Friday. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Canadian now has a losing record at 12-13. As for River Road, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

River Road skirted past Canadian 41-39 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will River Road repeat their success, or does Canadian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
