There's no place like home for California Academy of Math & Science, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in March. They put the hurt on the New Roads Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

California Academy of Math & Science's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-10. As for New Roads, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, California Academy of Math & Science will take on Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Roads, they will venture away from home to face off against EF Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
