Basketball Game Preview: Mathews Mustangs vs. Conneaut Spartans

Mathews is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Conneaut an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Mathews Mustangs will host the Conneaut Spartans at 1:15 p.m. Mathews will be strutting in after a win while Conneaut will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Mathews turned things around against Harding on Thursday. They came out on top against the Skippers by a score of 30-21.

Meanwhile, Conneaut was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 59-53 to Edgewood.

Mathews' victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Conneaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
