Softball Recap: Sheboygan North Takes a Loss

Sheboygan North fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Manitowoc Lincoln on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Ships by a score of 16-14. The Golden Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it ten in a row.

Jadyn Jetzer and Bella Wagner did some serious damage despite the final result: Jetzer went 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Wagner went 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Ashworth, who went 1-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Sheboygan North's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Sheboygan North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Howards Grove on the 2nd. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they have also already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Pulaski on the 5th.
