Football Game Preview: Carlson Marauders vs. Woodhaven Warriors + Official Tickets

The Carlson Marauders are taking a road trip to take on the Woodhaven Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Carlson has six wins , while Woodhaven has seven dating back to last season).

On Friday, everything came up roses for Carlson against Anderson as the team secured a 54-7 win. The Marauders pushed the score to 48-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Titans had no chance of recovering from.

Izaiah Wright produced another solid performance rushing for 180 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. Trent Ison was another key player, rushing for 54 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carlson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 356 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodhaven). They blew past Edsel Ford 63-7 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Carlson's record now sits at 6-0. As for Woodhaven, their record is now an identical 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Carlson against Woodhaven in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-14 win. In that matchup, the Marauders amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
