Basketball Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope lost against Mount Calm back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Penelope Wolverines fell 41-32 to Mount Calm. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Penelope's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Mount Calm, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Neches the next time they take the court. Mount Calm will host Neches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Penelope will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
