Football Game Preview: Midland Chemics vs. Dow Chargers + How To Watch

The Midland Chemics will head out on the road to take on the Dow Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Midland's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Mt. Pleasant on Friday. They took a 10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oilers. While losing is never fun, the Chemics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Oilers are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Dow waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They claimed a resounding 50-0 win over the Lightning. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for the Chargers this season.

Dow's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Midland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Midland was able to grind out a solid win over Dow in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 17-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chemics since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
