 Cimarron put the finishing touches on their 17th blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Goodland Cowboys as the Cimarron Bluejays made off with  a  12-3 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Cimarron.
  Quinn Campbell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Cimarron got a  massive  performance out of  Elly Tancayo, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, two  triples,  and three  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brooklyn Dye, who  went 3-for-4 with two  triples, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 On Goodland's side,  Destiny Gonzalez was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Hadyn Blochlinger, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Cimarron pushed their record up to 18-3 with that  victory, which was their 13th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Goodland, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-14.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cimarron beat Goodland by a score of  5-1 later that day.
