Softball Game Preview: Osakis Silverstreaks vs. Royalton Royals

The Osakis Silverstreaks will challenge the Royalton Royals at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Osakis didn't have quite enough to beat Upsala and fell 13-12. Even if the Silverstreaks couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Mora hit Royalton with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Royals lost 10-3 to the Mustangs.

Osakis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Royalton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Osakis' way against Royalton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Osakis made off with an 18-8 win. Will the Silverstreaks repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
