Abington Heights strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Forest City Foresters with a sharp 3-0 win. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Foresters, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Abington Heights took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-6, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Katherine Hastie, who had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Hastie wasn't the only good servers: Abington Heights was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 29 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in four consecutive matchups.

Abington Heights' victory bumped their record up to 22-0. As for Forest City, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
