Volleyball Game Preview: St. Marys Flying Dutch vs. Bradford Owls + How To Watch

The St. Marys Flying Dutch will head out to challenge the Bradford Owls at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Marys will be strutting in after a victory while Bradford will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, St. Marys got the win against Punxsutawney by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flying Dutch.

Meanwhile, Bradford didn't have quite enough to beat DuBois Central Catholic on Monday and fell 3-2. While the Owls didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-18 in the first set.

While Bradford ultimately came up short, they really made DuBois Central Catholic work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 26-24, 25-20, 24-26, 16-14.

St. Marys' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

St. Marys came out on top in a nail-biter against Bradford in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flying Dutch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
