Dakota is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Port Huron Northern on Thursday as they made off with a 7-2 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Dakota's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, L'Anse Creuse entered their tilt with Roseville on Wednesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for L'Anse Creuse, who have now won 12 games by three goals or more so far this season.

L'Anse Creuse's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 52 goals over those nine contests. As for Dakota, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.
