Recap: Lewis Cass Kings vs. Taylor Titans
The Lewis Cass Kings entered their tilt with the Taylor Titans with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Lewis Cass blew past Taylor 61-10 on the road. With Lewis Cass ahead 37-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Kinsey Mennen was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Hedrick, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Lewis Cass is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Taylor, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Lewis Cass will head out on the road to face off against Southwood at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Southwood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Thursday. As for Taylor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
