Alhambra couldn't beat Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary on Tuesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fourth inning. The Moors fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 10-9. Even though they lost, the Moors' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Melina Baker-Avila was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Alhambra's defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alhambra will square off against Bishop Conaty-Loretto at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, they will take on Montebello at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Oilers at the right time seeing as the Oilers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
