Basketball Game Preview: Anniston Bulldogs vs. Winterboro Bulldogs

The Anniston Bulldogs will take on the Winterboro Bulldogs in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Winterboro took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Anniston, who comes in off a win.

Anniston is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-32 win over Jacksonville. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Winterboro lost to Comer on the road by a 67-48 margin on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Winterboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Anniston, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Anniston strolled past Winterboro when the teams last played back in December of 2016 by a score of 74-55. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Winterboro's Marcus McMeans, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
