It's playoff time, and Rouse had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Burbank Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. The Raiders' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last six games.

Not much got past Blakely Barber, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Burbank off the board. Barber has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Madilynn George was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eeva Chick, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Rouse is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Burbank, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.

Rouse will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
