After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lafayette, Hamilton County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 41-40 win over the Suwannee Bulldogs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Hamilton County's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Suwannee, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
Hamilton County and Suwannee will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Trojans see the court they'll take on Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Suwannee, their break will end when they face Branford at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
