Nelson County won the last time they faced Galileo and things went their way on Friday too. The Governors' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 5-0 shutout. Considering Nelson County have won four contests by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Galileo with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jairo Chavez (2), Dawson Fitzgerald (2), and Elliot Kraemer.

The win made it two in a row for Nelson County and bumps their season record up to 4-1-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-7 Chatham and 1-5-1 Galileo. As for Galileo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.
