Baseball Recap: Delano Extends Winning Streak to Five

While Delano put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Zimmerman. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Thunder. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Delano's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Zimmerman, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Delano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Orono on the 17th. As for Zimmerman, they will head out on the road to challenge Cambridge-Isanti at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
