Soccer Recap: Liberty Christian's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

Liberty Christian lost against Jefferson Forest back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, Liberty Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Jefferson Forest are ranked 17th).

Liberty Christian moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Jefferson Forest, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0-2.
