Baseball Recap: Sunbright Find Success

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Sunbright brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 victory over the Jellico Blue Devils on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since March 23, 2024.

John Morgan and Justin Ballard did most of the damage at the plate: Morgan scored two runs and stole three bases, while Ballard scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Morgan a new career-high. Robert McFadden was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
