Soccer Game Preview: Yukon vs. Southmoore

The Yukon Millers will head out to challenge the Southmoore SaberCats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Yukon fell victim to Norman North and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, Yukon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Norman North are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Southmoore also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Norman on Thursday.

Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Southmoore, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Yukon took their win against Southmoore in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 4-1 score. In that contest, the Millers amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
