Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County lost against Bleckley County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jefferson County Warriors lost 54-32 to the Bleckley County Royals. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson County and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Bleckley County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County and Swainsboro will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Bleckley County, they will head out on the road to square off against Veterans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
