Soccer Recap: York Comes Up Short

York fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Crete on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 7-4. Even if York couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Ruby Reynolds and Zarayah Rochard scored all four of York's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

York has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Crete, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-6 record.

As of now, neither York nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
