Softball Recap: Boston Collegiate Hurricanes vs. Salem Academy Charter Navigator
After flying high against Neighborhood House Charter last Tuesday, Boston Collegiate came back down to earth. The Boston Collegiate Hurricanes fell 10-7 to the Salem Academy Charter Navigator on Wednesday. Boston Collegiate has not had much luck with Salem Academy Charter recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
For Salem Academy Charter's part, Kaedynce Kauth made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 19 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits. Kauth has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. Kauth was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple.
