Gila Bend kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They suffered a tough 15-0 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Warriors.
For Trinity Christian's part, Carson Feddema was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Feddema was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and a triple.
In other batting news, Connor Wallace was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Caleb Partin was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
