Soccer Game Preview: South Garner vs. Cleveland

South Garner is 0-10 against Cleveland since September of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Titans will head out to challenge the Rams at 6:30 p.m. South Garner's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

South Garner is headed into Monday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since August 13. Neither they nor Smithfield-Selma could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. South Garner had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Kwibe Msema and Jaylen Smalls were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

South Garner's goal came courtesy of Parker Wyant, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Cleveland earned a 3-1 win over Southeast Raleigh on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Cleveland in their matchups with Southeast Raleigh: they've now won nine in a row.

Cleveland now has a winning record of 7-6. With that draw, South Garner's record moves to 4-11-2.
