Soccer Recap: North Cobb Christian Takes a Loss

If North Cobb Christian was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Union County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Cobb Christian Eagles fell just short of the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

North Cobb Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Coming up, North Cobb Christian will be playing at home against Mount Pisgah Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they will challenge Coahulla Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coahulla Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
