Volleyball Recap: Delta's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paulding, Delta was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bryan Golden Bears 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Delta was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Claire Bates paced Delta's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bates got some help from Ellie Martinez and her 23 assists. Anabell Gillen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Delta's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-15. As for Bryan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Delta will host Pettisville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bryan, they will head out on the road to face off against Stryker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
