Baseball Recap: Palmer Trinity Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Palmer Trinity unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 10-6 to the Coral Gables Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Palmer Trinity saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Miraglia, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another was Tommy Barcinas Jr., who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Palmer Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Coral Park on the 12th. As for Coral Gables, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-6 draw against South Miami on the 13th.
