Basketball Recap: Coleman Comes Up Short

The Coleman Cougars took a 42-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niagara Badgers on Thursday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Badgers earlier this season, when they won 34-31.

Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Niagara, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-9 record.

The future could be bright for both Coleman and Niagara: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Coleman will look to extend Suring's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Niagara will try to hand Wausaukee their 12th-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
