Soccer Game Preview: White House-Heritage vs. Greenbrier

The White House-Heritage Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Greenbrier Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White House-Heritage's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

White House-Heritage is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Merrol Hyde Magnet on Friday. Neither White House-Heritage nor Merrol Hyde Magnet could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier kept a clean sheet against Northwest on Thursday. They beat the Vikings by a goal, winning 1-0. Greenbrier wouldn't have won without Krystian Lopez-Miguel, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Greenbrier and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. White House-Heritage's draw makes their record 0-6-1 this season.

White House-Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Greenbrier in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for White House-Heritage since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
