Softball Recap: Village Christian Triumphs

Village Christian posted their closest victory since April 5, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Arrowhead Christian Eagles 14-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Leah Mosley and Brooklyn Beckmann did most of the damage at the plate: Mosley went a perfect 5-for-5 with three RBI and two runs, while Beckmann went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those five hits gave Mosley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elsie Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Village Christian's record now sits at 2-0. As for Arrowhead Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Village Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 win against Canoga Park on the 5th. As for Arrowhead Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-2 victory against Rancho Christian on the 4th.
