Bangor is 8-2 against Lewiston since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bangor will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Edward Little on Friday. The Rams put the hurt on the Red Eddies with a sharp 11-3 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rams have posted against the Red Eddies since May 1, 2019.

Emma Tripp and Kaylee Folsom were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Tripp tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Folsom didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. At bat, Tripp went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Folsom went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. Those four hits gave Tripp a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabby Spreng, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Abby Folsom was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Meanwhile, Lewiston earned a 4-1 win over Poland on Tuesday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Lewiston's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bangor, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Bangor got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in June of 2025 against Lewiston by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
