Volleyball Recap: Brown Deer Takes a Loss

Brown Deer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Chesterton Academy. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chesterton Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Seraphina Her paced Brown Deer's offense, picking up four kills. Her got some help from Alayna Young and her seven assists. Ja'Niyah Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Brown Deer's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Chesterton Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

As of now, neither Brown Deer nor Chesterton Academy have any future games scheduled.
