Volleyball Recap: Grant Community Takes a Loss

Grant Community was the 2-0 winner over Warren Township when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12.

Evan Sigler paced Grant Community's offense, picking up eight kills. Sigler got some help from Eros Rabor and his 13 assists.

Grant Community's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Warren Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Grant Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Grayslake Central on the 8th. As for Warren Township, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Stevenson on the 7th.
