Basketball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the West Plains Zizzers an easy 69-44 victory. The Bluejays were not able to make up for their loss to the Zizzers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Plains, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Marshfield will face off against Rolla at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for West Plains, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Salem at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
