Recap: Panguitch Bobcats vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs
The Panguitch Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 60-17 victory over Bryce Valley on the road. That looming 60-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Panguitch yet this season.
Remme Chappell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cache Eyre, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Panguitch's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points per game. As for Bryce Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panguitch will be home for the holidays to greet Grand County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bryce Valley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (North Sevier is ranked 97th, while Bryce Valley is ranked 74th).
