 In what's become a running theme this season, Hume-Fogg gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They blew past the Hunters Lane Warriors 16-1. The  victory was familiar territory for Hume-Fogg who now have five in a row.
  Austin Sandberg and  George Esposito were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound,  Sandberg   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Esposito   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Sandberg has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  Sandberg  went 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI, while  Esposito  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Matthew Mertes, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Jack Hayduk, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Hume-Fogg is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 16 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record  this season. As for Hunters Lane, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
