Volleyball Recap: Grant Tigers vs. Kent City Eagles

Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Kent City Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

While Grant had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Alexa Obenauf paced Grant's offense, picking up seven kills. Obenauf got some help from Danica Gee and her nine assists. Gee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
