Quincy Notre Dame waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Camp Point Central Panthers. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Logan Woodyard looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Abram Wiewel was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaden Marth, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Quincy Notre Dame's record now sits at 15-6. As for Camp Point Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Quincy Notre Dame will be playing at home against Brown County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Camp Point Central, they will head out to challenge Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
