Basketball Recap: Lake City Comes Up Short

Lake City fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Mt. Spokane on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Timberwolves were up 15-1 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Lake City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake City will welcome Rocky Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Spokane, they will be playing at home against Bellarmine Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
