Lower Moreland is 0-7 against Calvary Christian Academy since April of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Lions will square off against the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lower Moreland was handed a 16-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Abington 5-3. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Maddie Menchhofer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Calvary Christian Academy's record now sits at 2-5-1. As for Lower Moreland, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.
