Football Recap: Kimball's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Livingston on Saturday, Kimball came back down to earth. The Jaguars took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the El Capitan Gauchos on Saturday. Despite 71 more yards than the Gauchos, the Jaguars couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Emma Coronado threw for 183 yards and one TD while completing 72.4% of her passes. Anaiya Garcia was her top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and one score.

Aaliyah Simonian was a one-woman wrecking crew For El Capitan. as she rushed for 78 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 93 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of her passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kimball fell to 3-1. As for El Capitan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Kimball didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 45-0 victory against Downey on the 25th. As for El Capitan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Orestimba on the 25th.
